AJ Kirkegaard Contractors is proud to announce it is partnering with Elevate by Design to help the St Vincent De Paul School raise funds and assist in building an Outdoor Learning Lab on the campus. The concept behind the outdoor classroom is to awaken children to the natural world around them that is often overlooked in modern-day classroom education.Once complete, the Outdoor Learning Lab will provide children with a hands-on scientific learning experience about living sustainably and caring for the earth; utilizing everything from raising chickens to growing hydroponic vegetables. The program kicks off with a paddle raiser on March 4, and an ultimate fundraising goal of $45,000.
